Here are some of my favorite things this week:

My new car! I haven't had a car since April, when my Daewoo broke down (R.I.P. Daewoo), so it's nice to finally be able to drive myself around again. My new ride is a Honda, so I named him E. Honda, after this badass:

My yellow-and-red polka dot summer vibe nails are pretty fun.

This cardigan is from Rue 21, and the Laura Palmer patch on the back is from Poison Apple Studios. I have a feeling a lot of my money is going to go to Poison Apple Studios in the future.

Janeane Garofalo in Reality Bites is the cutest thing ever.

Wait, I lied; this T-Rex sticker Courtney gave me is the cutest thing ever.

• This tutorial for dyeing space shirts is on my to-do list.

A few things I love this week:

This Virgin of Guadalupe ring my friend Denise gave me. Apparently she got it from a quarter machine somewhere. I should check out quarter machines more often!

As I have said before and will more than likely say again, I am a bit obsessed with Twin Peaks. This charm bracelet is so amazing.

This book is funny and scary and quirky and fun. It takes place in the near future, where books are considered artifacts and people spend more time communicating via handheld devices than they do actually talking to one another (or "verballing," as Shteyngart says in the novel). Shteyngart is definitely a gifted satirist. I can't speak for Kurt Vonnegut, but I kind of think he would dig this book.

• The Dainty Squid is a fun little blog full of cute clothes, DIY tutorials, yummy recipes, and adorable cats. Kaylah was just chosen to be Modcloth's Blogger of the Moment, and I can't think of anyone who deserves the title more.
• Homesick Texan makes me hungry. This blog, full of incredible recipes, is like food porn to me. I wish I could hire Lisa as my personal chef and have her cook every one of my meals for the rest of my life. (Okay, I might be exaggerating a little, but seriously, I could go for some Ancho-Chile Shrimp Quesadillas right now.)
• The papernstitch blog is a huge source of inspiration to me. For creative interior decorating ideas, tons of DIY tutorials, and even advice on how to run your own business, look no further.

Sinful Colors Professional in Why Not

I am really impressed with Sinful Colors Professional nail polish. It's only $1.99 at Walgreens, it comes in so many amazing colors, and it works better than most other brands of nail polish I have tried. It's vibrant and doesn't chip easily and is surprisingly shiny, too. I want a bottle of every color!

Summer is coming, and I think I need some strappy sandals. These wedges are perfect!

I have been just a bit obsessed with Twin Peaks lately. This lovely collection of ten pins (for only $5!) would be the perfect way to carry a little piece of this wonderful show around with me every day.

• Bake List is my favorite food blog ever. This girl has incredible recipes for everything from Brussels sprouts salad to chocolate-malt cake, and her photography is great, too.
• Abby Try Again is a delightful photo blog full of vivid, dreamy images.
• The Style Rookie is just the coolest kid in the world. I wish she was my little sister so we could have My So-Called Life marathons and shop at Salvation Army together.
